Whole Grain Tips:
It is recommended by the Dietary Guidelines for Americans that all adults eat half their grains as whole grains, three or more servings a day.
Read the ingredients list carefully. Look for the word “whole” in front of the grain (such as “whole wheat flour”).
Other whole grains include whole oats/oatmeal, popcorn and brown rice.
